Welcome to the Stage! *

We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new Musical Theater Program — a vibrant opportunity for students to explore the world of storytelling through dance, acting, and singing.

Students can choose to participate in just one company, two, or all three — Dance Company, Acting Company, and Singing Company — with all companies working together toward one large-scale, exciting production performed live at the end of each semester.

How It Works:

  • For our first season Full Program Participation is open to Ages 8 through Teens

  • For ages 4-7, participation in the musical theater dance company portion of the program is available.

  • All rehearsals happen on-site at WiLoKi.

  • Classes meet weekly. Students cast in featured roles may have additional practices.

  • A fully-staged Musical Theater Production is presented at the end of each Fall Semester.

  • Students will work on smaller projects during Spring Semester to develop skills and do preparatory work for the next production.

  • Auditions for parts in the annual production will take place during the Summer.

The Three Companies:

  • Students train in musical theater-style choreography and storytelling through movement.
    Recommended for dancers currently enrolled in any jazz, ballet, or jazz-funk classes.

  • Students learn musical theater vocal technique, including solo and ensemble singing, stage presence, and character-driven expression.
    No prior vocal experience required.

  • Students develop character work, stage movement, projection, improvisation, and scene performance — all woven into the show’s storytelling.
    Perfect for newcomers and returning performers alike.
