The WiLoKi Dance Company is the heart of our training program at WiLoKi Dance Center. Designed for dedicated dancers who want to grow in skill, artistry, and character, our company offers an exciting and faith-based environment to pursue excellence in the dance arts.

For Ages 6-18

    Our Dance Film Project is a professionally filmed, creatively directed dance video that blends powerful choreography with a cinematic storytelling experience. Dancers will learn, rehearse, and star in original routines designed for the camera.

    Our Story-Driven Showcase features a multi-scene production with each dance number unfolding the next chapter of the story.

    ✨ From dramatic solos to ensemble energy, dancers will shine in performances that speak not just with movement, but with meaning.

Company Class Structure

📅 Weekly Class Time: 100 minutes
Company classes are split into three dynamic segments:

  • A focused and structured time dedicated to developing flexibility, strength, control, and dance technique.
    Includes:

    • Weekly conditioning and stretching

    • Quarterly skill assessments

    • Personalized skill development paths

    • Future Integration with WiLoKi's Skill Charts and Student Portals

    • Future Access to our digital learning archive (for Company members)

  • A short but meaningful reflection time rooted in our mission to share the wisdom, love, and kingdom of God.
    Includes:

    • A devotional lesson or scripture reflection

    • A brief segment on dance history or artistic exploration

    • Thoughtful discussions on identity, purpose, and faith in the arts

  • Each Semester, our dancers work to learn and perform in an exciting dance project. I the Fall Semester we will create an exciting dance film, choreographed and directed in-studio. In the Spring Semester we will create and perform an exciting production dance that will be performed in our themed Spring Showcase.

    • Fall Semester: Cinematic Story-Driven Dance Film

    • Spring Semester: Full-Scale Showcase Performance on stage

    • Dancers help bring stories to life through movement and teamwork

Company Requirements

To join the Dance Company, dancers must:

  • Be enrolled in a leveled jazz class

  • Attend the weekly 100-minute Dance Company class for their level

  • Demonstrate respect, teamwork, commitment, and a positive attitude
